Casa Decor 2019 has been the perfect setting to see all the creative potential of the mosaic for high-end décor. A date that design professionals never miss year after year. Discover the three stylish spaces in which we have participated.
Vatea Studio – Aseos “Freedom Twist
The freedom to give a twist to tradition has been our main inspiration in this project’ said Fabián Ñiguez and Nacho Cirujano, interior designers at Vatea Studio.
They were inspired by the elegance of the old palaces of the big cities. The result was modern toilets with timeless essence.
The highest ceilings and symmetrical architecture were the basis of their project. The simple and symmetrical lines enhanced by marbles, wood and brass were the most distinctive touch.
Following this line, they were seduced by the beauty of symmetry creating their own personalized Geo Pattern with Onix Mosaic for the floor. A concept enhanced with the Venato White and Nero Marquina marbles from the Eco Stones series for an elegant and geometric mosaic floor, achieving a timeless and elegant effect as in their imagination.
Jaime Jurado – Living Room “Art Time”
Inspired by the world of Fine Arts and its different disciplines, plastic artist and interior designer Jaime Jurado gave order and balance to the living room ‘La hora del arte’ or Art Time. A space where simplicity and grandeur were present.
This time Jaime Jurado used current and modern materials, with high quality finishes, in neutral colours with different tones, perfectly harmonized to create a very cosy space. A mixture of antiques with the latest works of contemporary art created by Jaime Jurado himself, filling the space with sensitivity and charisma.
The geometric abstraction of the floor design, created with hexagonal mosaic handmade by Onix, interacted with the other elements of the space, highlighting the presence of gold and light. A contemporary pavement composed of a marbleized base and enhanced by lines in gold and silver that brought sparkles of elegance.
In this project, our challenge was to manufacture customized hexagonal Golden and Argent chips, from the Hex Natureglass series, resistant to the high traffic of the house. An exclusive material!
Marisa Gutiérrez – “Grohe Lab 4 Emotions” – Grohe Space
‘Grohe Lab 4 Emotions is a sensory tunnel that invites those who go through it to feel and think’ says interior designer Marisa Gutiérrez, who designed this space from a harmonic perspective around the water.
Gutiérrez proposed a conceptual set based on the Yin Yang equilibrium, a toilet based on a universe full of balance and flooded with duality. To do this, she contrasted mosaics in black and white with textures and reliefs on floors and walls that arouse emotions to the touch.
Visually, the metallized effects with 24K Gold details of Onix mosaic, from the Boreal series, reinforced the spiritual concept and added a touch of luxury to the space.
The Boreal series has versatile tones such as white and black decorated with refined lines in gold and platinum.
